1 RESOLUTION NO. 5866
21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
3 OF A QUITCLAIM DEED .

5 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach is the owner of Lot
6 23, Block 33, Newport Beach Tract, as shown on a map recorded in
7 Book 3, page 26, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
8 California; and
9 WHEREAS,the owners of Lot 22 adjoining the above describe
10 property submitted an offer for the purchase of said Lot 23; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of September 10,
12 1963, directed that the City offer a quitclaim deed for the
13 subject lot to said owners for the amount of $500 on the condition
14 that said lot be combined with the adjoining lot by resubdivision,
15 that the purchasers pay all costs in connection with the trans -
16 action, and that they act upon the matter within sixty days; and
17 WHEREAS, the matter of the resubdivision has been sub -
18 mitted to and approved by the Planning Commission;
19 NOW, THEREFOR:, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
20 City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
21 authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim deed of said Lot
22 23 to the owners of the adjoining Lot 22 and deliver the same to
23 the grantees following the recording of the resubdivision map with
24 the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
25 ADOPTED this 23rd day of September, 1963.
