A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE °CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING A SUPPLE -.

HENTAL.PR03ECT STATEMENT
FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
ALLOCATED FROM THE.STATE
HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES.

5 WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the City
6 and the State of California on March 27, 1961, for expenditure of
7I funds allocated from the State highway fund to cities; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared a supplemental
9 project statement showing estimated additional expenditures of
10 such funds to be made during the 1963 -64 fiscal year; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said supple-
12 mental project statement and is familiar with the contents thereof;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
14 City of Newport Beach that said supplemental project statement be
15 and it is hereby approved and adopted as an addition to previously
16 approved budgeted funds of the gas tax allocation to cities, and
17 the Public Works Director is directed to sign the same on behalf
18 of said City and submit it to the Department of Public Works,
19 State of California, in accordance with the provisions of Section
20 197 of the Streets and Highways Code,
21 ADOPTED this 23d day of September, 1963.
