2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
3 AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COMMITY YOUTH CENTER
OF NEWPORT HARBOR

5 TMREAS, the Community Youth Center in Corona del Mar
6 has been operated pursuant to a contract between the City of
7 Newport Beach and the Community Youth Center of Newport Harbor;
8 and
9 WHEREAS, it is to the mutual advantage of the parties
10 and to the public to continue the operation of the Youth Center
11 under the terms of said contract; and
12 WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared and approved by
13 the Board of Directors of the Community Youth Center and the Board
14 of the Newport Beach School District and is satisfactory to the
15 City; and
16 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5859 adopted September 10, 1963,
17 authorized a form of said contract which has been revised;
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 5859
19 is rescinded and that the agreement drafted 9/24/63 is hereby
20 approved and the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized
?1 and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City.
