2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT.DEED FROM THE
3 IRVINE COMPANY AND THE BLUFFS CONVEYING FEE TITLE
TO PUBLIC STREET RIGHTS -OF -WAY IN TRACT NO. 5463

5 WFXREAS, the Final Nap of Tract No. 5463 has been approv4
6 by the .City Council, and
7 E�TMEAS, Section 9256.14(a) of the Newport Beach Muni -
8 cipal Code requires that the subdivider shall convey the teal
9 property consisting of the public street and alley rights -of -way
10 surrounding a planned residential development to the City in fee
11 and shall covenant therewith that the open space or recreational
12 area lots shall be continuously maintained for the exclusive use
13 and benefit of occupants of the family duelling units in the sub -
14 division and that access and automobile storage shall be provided,
15 and
16 WFE EAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
17 as owner, and The.Bluffs, a limited partnership, as its lessee,
18 have delivered a grant deed conveying to the City all such real
19 property within said Tract No. 5463 to comply with said Section
20 9256.144(a), and
21 ir7HEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said document and
22 determined that it adequately provides for the requirements of sail
23 Section 9256.14(a),
24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
25 the City of Newport Beach does accept said grant deed and the City
• 26 Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach thereto a
27 certificate of acceptance and consent to its recording and to
28 record said grant deed in the County Recorders office.
