RESOLUTION NO. 5925
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
COVENANTS, CONDITIONS, AND RESTRICTIONS BEING
IMPOSED UPON TRACT NO. 5463 AND TRACT NO. 5480
WHEREAS, there has been presented-to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach by The Irvine Company, a West Virginia
corporation, as owner, and The Bluffs, a limited partnership, as
its lessee and subdivider of Tract No. 5463 and Tract No. 5480, a
document entitled "Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restric-
tions Tract Nos. 5463 and 5480 ", whereby covenants, conditions and
restrictions are imposed upon said tracts; and
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company is the owner and The Bluffs
is the lessee of all lots in said tracts and propose to impose said
Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions upon said
tracts for the benefit of all of the lots therein and for the
benefit of the adjoining land owned by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said document and
determined that it adequately provides for the permanent upkeep,
maintenance, and payment of taxes on the common area lots within
said tracts, as required by Section 9256.13 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 9th day of March, 1964.
