2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A QUITCLAIM! DEED ..
4 WHEREAS,.Edker Pope and Blanche Pope have executed a
5 quitclaim deed quitclaiming to the City of Newport Beach the real
6 property in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
7 California, described as follows:
8 That portion of 28th Street'in the city of Newport Beach,
county of Orange, state of California, as shown on a map
9 recorded in book 4 page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
office of the county recorder of said county, described as
10 follows:
11 Beginning at the most easterly corner of lot 11 in block 128
12 of Lake Tract, as shown on said map; thence South 520 411 06"
West 146.74 feet to the most southerly corner of lot 16 in -
13 said block, said corner being the point of cusp of the south-
east line of said lot 16 with A curve concave southerly
having a radius of 280.00 feet; thence easterly 141.58 feet
14 along said curve through a central angle of 280 581 17" to
15 the southerly prolongation of the easterly line of said lot
11; thence North 19 421 30" West 36.76 feet to the point
16 of beginning;
17 11 and
18 WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
19 quitclaim deed;
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said quitclaim deed
21 is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to
22 execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent
23 to its recording and to record said quitclaim deed in the County
24 Recorder's office.
25 ADOPTED this 9th day of March, 1964. /
