1 RESOLUTION NO. 5927
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED .

4 WHEREAS, Edker Pope and Blanche Pope have executed a
5 grant deed granting to the City of Newport Beach the real property
6 in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
7 described as follows:
8 An easement for street and highway purposes over that portion
of lot 20 in block 127 of the Lake Tract, in the city of
9 Newport Beach, county of Orange, state of California, as per
map recorded in book 4 page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
10 office of the county recorder of said county described as
follows:

Beginnin§ at the most northerly corner of said lot; thence
12 South 19 421 30" East 66.56 feet along the easterly line of
said lot to a point on a non - tangent curve concave southerly
13 having a radius of 200.00 feet, a radial to said point bears
North 30 411 49B1 West; thence westerly 40.48 feet along
14 said curve through a central angle of 11° 351 44" to the
southwesterly line of said lot; thence North 370 181 54"
15 West 44.58 feet to the westerly corner of said lot; thence
16 North 520 411 061° East 55.87 feet to the point of beginning;

18 WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
19 grant deed for such purposes;
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said grant deed is
21 hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to
22 execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent
23 to its recording and to record said grant of easement in the County
24 Recorderts office.
