2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
3 IMPROVEMENT OF BALBOA BOULEVARD FROM 32ND
STREET TO 21ST PLACE

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of the improvement of Balboa Boulevard from 32nd Street
7 to 21st Place in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the
8 plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on
9 the 4th day of March, 1964, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 'WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11 therefor is Sully-Miller Contracting Company;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Sully-
13 Miller Contracting Company in the amount of $105,065.15 be
14 accepted and that the contract for the construction work be
15 awarded to said bidder.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
17 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
18 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
19 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
20 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
