RESOLUTION NO. 5939
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE WATER
MAIN CONSTRUCTION IN EAST NEWPORT AND ALLEY .
PAVING IN LINDO ALLEY
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting o€ the water main construction in East Newport and alley
paving in Lindo Alley in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance
with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
received on the 18th day of March, 1964, and publicly opened and
declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Robert B. NcClary, dba Hydro Construction Co.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Robert B.
McClary, dba Hydro Construction Co., in the amount of $31,317.17
be accepted and that the contract for the construction work be
awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
