III RESOLUTION NO. 5951
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CON -
3 STRUCTION OF _A PRESSURE REDUCING STATION BELOW
HOAG HOSPITAL

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of the construction of a pressure reducing station below
7 Hoag Hospital in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the
8 plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on
9 the 8th day of April, 1964, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11 therefor is PYLON, INC.;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Pylon,
13 Inc., in the amount of $15,545 be accepted and that the contract
14 for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
16 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
17 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
18 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
19 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
20 ADOPTED this 13th day of April, 1964.
