1 RESOLUTION NO. 5954
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEFrIPORT BEACH ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC
3 UTILITY PURPOSES

5 IfflEMEAS, The Irvine Company, a test Virginia corporation,
6 and ,jamboree Land Co., a corporation, have executed and delivered
7 to the City of Newport Beach an easement for public utility
8 purposes in, under and along a strip of land, 6 feet in width,
9 measured at right angles, situated in the City of Newport Beach,
10 County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
11 The southeasterly 3.00 feet of Lot 51, the north -
12 westerly 3,00 feet of Lot 50, and the northwesterly
6.00 feet of the southeasterly 12.06 feet of Lot 36,
13 all in Tract No. 4892, as shown on map recorded in
Book 180, pages 24 to 26, inclusive, of Miscellaneous
14 Naps, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange
County,.California;

16 I-R EREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
17 said easement for public utility purposes;
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said easement for
19 public utility purposes is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is
20 authorized and directed to execute and attach thereto a certificate
21 of acceptance and consent to its recording and to record said ease -
22 ment for public utility purposes in the County Recorderts office.
