RESOLUTION NO. 5966
A RESOLUTION OF TP-M CITY COUNCIL OF T-iM CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF A V SEWER FORCE MAIN AT OCEAN BOULEVARD AND
1'ARGUERITZ AVENUE
TirdEREiS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the construction of a 6" sewer force main at Ocean
Boulevard and Marguerite Avenue in the City of Newport Beach, in
accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted,
bids were received on the 6th day of Pray, 1964, and publicly
opened and declared; and
!KaRlS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Card Construction Company, Incorporated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Card
Construction Company, Incorporated, in the amount of X11,757 be
accepted and that the contract for the construction work be
awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTbr�R RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 11th day of May, 1964.
