2 A RESOLUTION OF TM, CITY COUNCIL OF TIM CITY OF
NEiv-PORT BEACH CHANGING T1-�E NFAkg�. OF DEL PSAR. AVENUZ

5 MEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City has recom-
6 mended to the City Council the changing of the name of Del Liar
7i Avenue in the City of Newport Beach; and
8 WFMMS, Section 34091.1 of the Government Code author -
9 izes the legislative body to change the name of any city street by
10 adoption of a resolution; and
11 &3mtMuAS, after consideration of said recommendation, it
12 appears that it would be in the interests of the City and convenient
13 to the public to change the name of Del Mar Avenue as hereinafter set
14 forth;
15 N01ri, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
16 the City of Newport Beach that the name of that certain street 1mowzn
17 as Del Har Avenue which extends southeasterly from Tustin Avenue
18 along the southwesterly line of Tract 4444, as shown on City of
19 Newport Beach Planning Department Drawing No. L °1133, designated
20 "Street Name Change Del Liar Ave. to University Dr. ", a copy of
21 which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit °PGA°', and by this reference
22 incorporated herein and made a part hereof, be changed to University
23 Drive.
24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Cleric is directed to
25 forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Super -
26 visors of Orange County in accordance with the provisions of
27 Section 34092 of the Government Code.
28 ADOPTED this 9th day of June, 1964.
