RESOLUTION NO. 5977
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE -
CONSTRUCTION OF GAS PUMP FACILITIES AT CITY HALL
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the construction of gas pump facilities at City Hall
in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 3rd
day of June, 1964, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is M & S Maintenance Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of M & S
Maintenance Company in the amount of $5,966 be accepted and that
the contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications), bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED at an adjourned regular meeting this 9th day of
June, 1964.
