RESOLUTION NO. 59713
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT
WITH ORANGE COUNTY TO.PERFORM SOIL.TESTS
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has an agreement with
the County'of Orange to conduct soil tests to determine pavement
design; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared which, if exe-
cuted by the County and City, would extend the term of the current
agreement through June 30, 1965; and
WHEREAS, said agreement to conduct soil tests has been
in effect and has proved to be satisfactory to both parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement extend-
ing the terms of the present agreement to June 30, 1965, be approve
and the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach
ATTEST:
