RESOLUTION N0. R -5983
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SCHEDULE "A" ADOPTED BY
RESOLUTION NO. 5904.AND AMENDED BY.RESOLUTION
NO. 5915,RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION AND.COMPEN-
SATION
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5804 was adopted pursuant to
Section 2200 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code which adopted
Schedules "A ", 91BOYV 11C1®, and "D ", each dated July 1, 1963,
setting forth the classification and compensation plan of the
City; and
WHEREAS, new Schedules "A" and "B" were adopted by
Resolution-No. 5904 and Schedule "A99 was amended by Resolution No.
5915; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that Schedule "A"
be further amended by adding the class of Library Assistant at
salary range No. 27;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 1,
1964, Schedule "A" adopted by Resolution No. 5904 and amended by
Resolution No. 5915 is further amended by adding the class of
Library Assistant at salary range No. 27.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as specifically
changed, the provisions of Schedule "A" as adopted by Resolution
No. 5904 and amended by Resolution No. 5915 shall continue in full
force and effect.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of June, 1964.
