111 RESOLUTION NO. 6014
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BRACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR-PARALLEL
31 WATER MAIN CONSTRUCTION IN 22ND STREET AND
41 SFAQUIST AREAS
5 S, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of parallel water main construction in 22nd Street and
7 Seaquist Areas in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with
8 the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received
9 on the 22nd day of duly, 1964, and publicly opened and declared;
10, and
11 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12 therefor is T. J. Robert Co., Inc.;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of T. J.
14 Robert Co., Inc., in the amount of $64,964.67 be accepted and that
15 the contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
17 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
18 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
19 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
20 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
