RESOLUTION N0. 6038
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT -DEED FROM-THE
IRVINE.COMIPANY AND THE BLUFFS CONVEYING FEE TITLE
TO PUBLIC STREET RIGHTS -OF -WAY IN TRACT NO. 5692
WHEREAS, the Final Map of Tract No. 5692 has been
I by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Section 9256.14(a) of the Newport Beach Muni-
cipal Code requires that the subdivider shall convey the real
property consisting of the public street and alley rights -of -way
surrounding a planned residential development to the City in fee
and shall covenant therewith that the open space or recreational
area lots shall be continuously maintained for the exclusive use
and benefit of occupants of the family dwelling units in the sub-
division and that access and automobile storage shall be provided;
and
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
as owner, and The Bluffs, a limited partnership, as its lessee,
have delivered a grant deed conveying to the City all such real
property within said Tract No. 5692 to comply with said Section
9256.14(a); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said document and
determined that it adequately provides for the requirements of said
Section 9256.14(a);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach does accept said grant deed and the City
Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach thereto a
certificate of acceptance and consent to its recording and to
record said grant deed in the County Recorder's office.
ADOPTED this 28th day of September, 1964.
