RESOLUTION NO. 6045
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A NEW ELEMENT OF
FASTER_ PLAN ENTITLED "`MASTER CAPITAL IMPROVE-
MENT PLAN;'

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the City Council
have heretofore adopted a Master Plan of the City of Newport Beach;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Newport
Beach after notice and hearing in accordance with the requirements
of the State Planning Act has adopted a "Master Capital Improvement
Plan" as an element of the Master Plan of the City of Newport Beach;l
and
WHEREAS, said "Master Capital Improvement Plan7° consists
of a map which is attached hereto on which are shown the general
locations of existing and proposed schools, community center build-
ings, parks, playgrounds, fire stations, and libraries; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has certified and trans-
mitted said "Master Capital Improvement Plan" to the City Council
for its consideration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after notice, has held a
public hearing on said "Piaster Capital Improvement Plan ", in
ance with the requirements of the State Planning Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in
the public interest to adopt said "Master Capital Improvement Plan ";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of t
City of Newport Beach hereby adopts said "Piaster Capital Improvement
Plan" as an element of the Master Plan of the City of Newport Beach,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to sign said "Master Capital Improvement
Plan" to show that it has been adopted by the City Council, and it
is further directed that the same be placed on file with the Master
