WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Aids for work
I consisting of the jamboree Road Realignment, 3astblu£f Drive to
Palisades Road, Revised First Contract, in the City of Newport
Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted, bids were received on the 21st day of October, 1964, and
publicly opened and declared; and
GRAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Coxco, Inc.;
NOWt TH2,211.FOR:., BE IT R,ISOLaVED that the bid of Coxco, Inc.
in the amount of ,333,468.50 be accepted and that the contract for
the construction work be awarded to said bidder, subject to the
approval thereof by the State.
BE IT FUSTIER RESOLVED that, upon approval of said award
of contract by the State, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby autho-
rized and directed to execute a contract in accordance with the
specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish an executed
copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 9th day of November, 1964.
