RESOLUTION NO. 5C74
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEiPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT.DEED
WHEREAS, Edker Pope and Blanche Pope have executed a
grant deed granting to the City of Newport Beach the real property
in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Parcel 1: That portion of lot 15 in block 127 of the Lake
Tract, in the city of Newport Beach, county of Orange,.state
of California, as per map recorded in book 4 page 13 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, in the office of the county recorder of
said county, described as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of said lot 15; thence
South 37 14' 0091 East, along the southwesterly line of said
lot 15, a distance of 30.00 feet to the true point of begin-
ning of this description; thence continuing South 37° 14' 00"
East along said southwesterly line, a distance of 14.98 feet,.
to the beginning of a tangent curve concave southeasterly and
having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence northwesterly, northerly
and northeasterly along said curve through an angle of 89° 55'
0609, a distance of 23.54 feet to a line tangent, said line
tangent being parallel with and 30.00 feet southeasterly* of
the northwesterly line of said lot 15; thence South 52 41'
06" West along said line tangent, a distance of 14.98 feet
to.the true point of beginning.
Parcel 2: Those portions of lots 15 to 19 inclusive in
block 127 of the Lake Tract, in the city of Newport Beach,
county of orange, state of California, as per map recorded
in book 4 page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of
the county recorder of said county, lying northwesterly of
the following described line:
Beginning at the most northerly corner of said lot 19; thence
South 37 18' 54" East 44.58 feet along the easterly line of
said lot to a point on a non - tangent curve concave southerly
having a radius of 200.00 feet, a radial to said point bears
North 150 17' 33" West! thence westerl�* 76.87 feet along said
curve through a central angle of 22° O1 21" to the westerly
line of said lot 17; thence South 52° 41' 06" Blest 50.06
feet to the southwesterly line of said lot 15.

WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
grant deed for such property;
NOWO T11EREF=-2 BE IT RESOLVED that said grant deed is
hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to
execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent

Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
