A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT 3EAC:I ZICCEPTINC A UTILITY AS =I;T
WHEREAS, Lockheed Aircraft Corporation has executed and
delivered to the City of Newport Beach a Utility Easement dated
December 7, 1965, granting to the City non - exclusive easements for
the purpose of operating and maintaining a water main and appurten
in, over and under that certain real property situated in the City
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
Parcel j7l
A stri7 of land, 10 feet in width, in Block 50,
Irvine s Subdivision, in the County of Orange,
State of California, as per map recorded in Book
1, Page 88 of miscellaneous Record Maps in the
office of the County Recorder of said County;
the southeasterly line of said strip being de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of the - --
northwesterly one -half of the southeasterly one-
half of said Block, as said corner is shown on a
map attached to a deed to said County recorded
July 15, 1950 in Book 1055, Page 115 of Official
Records of said County; thence North 39° 49' 40"
East 50 feet along the southeasterly line of said
northwesterly one -half of the southeasterly one -
halfcf said Block to a point in the northeasterly
line of Palisades Road, 80 feet wide) as described
in a deed recorded july 28, 1958 in Book 1677, Page
96 of said Official.Records, said point being the
true point of beginning; thence continuing along
said southeasterly line North 39° 49' 40" East
1138.91 feet to the westerly line of MacArthur
Boulevard, (110 feet wide) as described in a deed
to the State of California recorded July 25, 1940
in Book.1047, Page 557 of said Official Records.
The northwesterly line of said 10 foot wide strip
of land to be extended northeasterly to terminate
in said westerly line of MacArthur Boulevard, and
extended southwesterly to terminate in said north-
easterly line of Palisades Road.

A strips of land 20 feet in width, in Block 50,
Irvine's Subdivision, in the County of Orange,
State of California, as per map recorded in Book
1, Page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in the
office of the County Recorder of said County,
described as follows:

westerly one -half of the southeasterly one -half of

to a deed to said County recorded ,duly 15, 1940 in
Book 1055, Page 115 of Official Records of said
County; thence North 390 49' 4011 Bast 50 feet along
the southeaster)y line of said northwesterly one-
half of the southeasterly one -half of said Block to
the northwesterly prolongation of the northeasterl
right of way line of Palisades Road, (80 feet wide}
as described in a deed recorded July 28, 1948 in .
Book 1677, Page 96 of Official Records; thence North
500 11' 451f West 10 feet along said northwesterly
prolongation to the true point of beginning; thence
continuing along said northwesterly prolongation
North 50° 11' 45".West 150 feet; thence North 39°
49' 40" East parallel with said southeasterly line
to a line that is parallel with and distant north-
easterly 20 feet (measured at right angles) from
said northwesterly prolongation; thence South 50°
11' 45" East along said last mentioned parallel line
to a line that bears North 390 49' 40Q1 East from the
true point of beginning; thence South 390 49' 40/1
West to the true point of beginning;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
Utility Easement for such purposes;
NOGG, TIMEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Utility Easement
is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to
execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent
to its recording and to record said document in the County Recorder'
office.
ADOPTED this 28th day of December, 1964.
