2I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR NEWPORT
3 OCEAN PIER REPAIRS AND ALTERATIONS (REVISED
CONTRACT)
5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
i61 consisting of the Newport Ocean Pier Repairs and Alterations
71 (Revised Contract), in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance
8i with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were

received on the 22nd day of December, 1964, and publicly opened and
declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Healy Tibbits Construction Co.;
NOWT THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Healy
Tibbits Construction Co. in the amount of $28,967 be accepted and
that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 28th day of December, 1964.

Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
