11 RESOLUTION NO. 6165
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
I�TEfr7PORT BEACH ESTABLISHING NO PARKING AREAS

4 67HEREAS, Section 3272 of the Newport Beach A"uni.cipal Code
5 provides that the City Council may by resolution establish no park -
6 ing areas and, when appropriate signs or markings are in place, no
7 person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle in the no parking area
8 so established; and
9 k7 REAS, certain areas hereinafter described are areas
10 where parking should be prohibited in order to facilitate the flow
11 of traffic and eliminate traffic hazards;
12 N%72 TI-MREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following- describe
13 areas are hereby designated as no parking areas:
14 1. The southerly side of Bayside Drive from Marine
15' Avenue to Harbor Island Road.
2. The northerly side of Bayside Drive from Jamboree
16 Road to Harbor Island Road.
17 3. The easterly side of Bayside Drive from Harbor
Island Road to Pacific Coast Highway.

BE IT
FURTHER
RESOLVED that the
city traffic
engineer
is

authorized and
directed
to appropriately
sign or mark
said areas
to
21 indicate parking is prohibited.
22 ADOPTED this 14th day of June 1965.
