2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEv'H?ORT BFACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
3 ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM PROJECT
ADMINISTRATION AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF
4 ORANGE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF JAMBOREE ROAD
5 FROM PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY TO FORD ROAD
6 TINEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 6080 requestec
7 the County of Orange to Allocate funds to aid the City of Newport
8 Beach during fiscal year 1965 -66 in the improvement of Jamboree Roac
9 from Pacific Coast Highway to Ford Road; and
10 AREAS, by said resolution the City agreed that its
11 share of the cost of improvements and rights of way would be avail -
12 able for the fiscal year 1965 -66; and
13 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
14 the City of Newport Beach a certain Arterial Highway Financing
15 Program Project Administration Agreement between the City of New®
16 port Beach and the County of Orange for the improvement of Jamboree
17 Road from Pacific Coast Highway to Ford Road, which said agreement
18 has been reviewed and found to be fair and equitable and it is in
19 the interest of the City to execute the same;
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
21 City of Newport Beach that said agreement be approved and that the
22 Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the
23 same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
24 ADOPTED this 26th day of July, 1965.
