A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF ST. ANDREWS ROAD,
CONTRACT NO. 1643
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the improvement of St. Andrews Road from 15th
Street to Cliff Drive, in accordance with the plans and specifi-
cations heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 5th day
of August, 1974, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Sully- Miller Contracting Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Sully- Miller Contracting
Company for the work in the amount of $23,245.00 be accepted,
and that the contract for the described work be awarded to said
bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 12th day of August , 1974.
