RESOLUTION NO. -8355
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE NAME OF THE
ALLEY BETWEEN SEAWARD ROAD AND MORNING CANYON
ROAD AS "SHORECREST LANE"
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Newport Beach has recommended to the City Council the establish-
ment of the name for a portion of a certain alley in the City
of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, Section 34091,.1 of the Government Code of
the State of California authorizes the legislative body to
establish a name for any city street or alley by adoption of a
resolution; and
WHEREAS, after consideration of said recommendation
it appears that it would be in the interests of the City and
convenient to the public to establish the name of SHORECREST
LANE for the alley which parallels East Coast Highway on the
north side between Seaward Road and Morning Canyon Road, as
hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the name of that certain portion
of the alley which parallels East Coast Highway on the north
side between Seaward Road and Morning Canyon Road, as shown on
the drawing which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and
by this reference incorporated herein and made a part hereof, be
established as
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed
to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of
Supervisors of Orange County in accordance with the provisions
of Section 34092 of the Government Code.
