A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
IMPROVEMENT OF BIG CANYON RESERVOIR PERIMETER
SERVICE ROAD, CONTRACT NO. 1645
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the Big Canyon Reservoir Perimeter Service
. Road, in accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted, bids were received on the 10th day of September, 1974,
and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is J. B. Crosby Company of La Palma;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of J. B. Crosby Company
for the work in the amount of $14,913.00 be accepted, and that
the contract for the described work be awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 30th day of September , 1974.
