A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH WATER MAINS
ON BALBOA PENINSULA, CONTRACT NO. 1608
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
improvements in connection with water mains on Balboa Peninsula,
in accordance
with
the plans
and specifications heretofore
® adopted, bids
were
received
on the 14th day of November, 1974,
and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefore is Ameron, Inc., Pipe Lining Division;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Ameron, Inc., Pipe
Lining Division, for the work in the amount of $69,846.00 be
accepted, and that the contract for the described work be awarded
to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
