RESOLUTION NO. 8391
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH PROHIBITING THE
PARKING OF VEHICLES ON THE WEST SIDE OF
EASTBLUFF DRIVE BETWEEN BACK BAY DRIVE
AND VISTA DEL SOL FROM 7:00 A.M. TO 9:00 A.M.
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.150 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall by resolution
designate streets or portions of streets on which the parking
or standing of vehicles is to be prohibited, and shall designate
in the resolution the days of the week and the exact hours during
which such prohibition shall be in effect; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
reasonable and in the public interest to restrict parking of
vehicles on the west side of Eastbluff Drive between Back Bay
Drive and Vista del Sol from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. Monday through
Friday;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that parking of vehicles shall be
prohibited on the west side of Eastbluff Drive between Back Bay
Drive and Vista del Sol from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. Monday through
Friday;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
is authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark said
area to indicate such parking prohibition.
