RESOLUTION NO. 8771
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING THE PARCEL MAP FOR
RESUBDIVISION NO. 485 (ROGER'S GARDENS) AND
ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF DEDICATION OF VEHICULAR
ACCESS RIGHTS TO MACARTHUR BOULEVARD, SAN
JOAQUIN HILLS ROAD AND SAN MIGUEL DRIVE, EXCEPT
FOR STREET INTERSECTIONS AND THREE EXISTING
DRIVEWAY APPROACHES
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a Parcel Map for Resubdivision
No. 485 ( Roger's Gardens); and
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company and Roger's Gardens,
Newport Beach, have offered for dedication to the City certain
vehicular access rights to MacArthur Boulevard, San Joaquin
Hills Road and San Miguel Drive, except for street intersections
and three existing driveway approaches; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the Parcel
Map and the offer of dedication, and finds that the approval
of the Parcel Map and the acceptance of the offer of dedication
to be in the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said Parcel Map is approved
and the offer of dedication is hereby accepted, and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized to execute the certificate on said
map consistent herewith and approving the signature omissions
per Section 66436(b)(1) of the Subdivision Map Act.
