RESOLUTION NO. 8935
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING"
RESTRICTIONS ON CHINA COVE STREETS (EXHIBIT
"A "), AND RESCINDING RELATED PORTIONS OF
RESOLUTION NO. 2328
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.150 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall by resolu-
tion designate streets or portions of streets on which the
parking or standing of vehicles is to be prohibited, and shall
designate in the resolution the days of the week and the exact
hours during which such prohibition shall be in effect; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
reasonable and in the public interest to establish tow -away
parking restrictions on China Cove Streets as shown on Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and incorporated by this reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that parking of vehicles on China
Cove Streets as shown on Exhibit "A" shall be prohibited;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
is authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark said
area to indicate such tow -away parking restrictions;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that related portions of
Resolution No. 2328 are hereby rescinded.
