RESOLUTION NO. 9982
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE SOUTH SIDE
OF CHANNEL PLACE BETWEEN 38TH STREET AND THE
RIALTO AS A NO PARKING /TOW AWAY ZONE
WHEREAS, Section 12.40.160 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Council may by resolution
establish areas in which no person shall stop, stand or park a
vehicle; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to prohibit parking as herein-
after provided in order to facilitate the flow of traffic and
eliminate traffic hazards,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that south side of Channel Place
between 38th Street and The Rialto is hereby designated a "No
Parking /Tow Away zone "; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Traffic Engineer shall
erect the necessary signs to indicate said area as a No
Parking /Tow Away zone.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of February, 1981.
