A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A NAP SHOWING THE
RIGHT -OF -WAY PORTION OF LAKE AVENUE BETWEEN
32ND STREET AND THE MARKET BASKET PARKING LOT
WHICH IS PROPOSED TO BE VACATED, CLOSED AND
ABANDONED
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director of the City of
Newport Beach has presented to the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach a certain map entitled " Vacation of a Portion of
Lake Avenue" drawing No. R/W- 5436 -L of the Public Works
Department of the City of Newport Beach, dated February 20, 1981,
(attached hereto as Exhibit "A "), showing the right -of -way
proposed to be vacated, closed up and abandoned, and which is
more particularly described as:
"That portion of Lake Avenue, 40.00 feet wide,
shown as Parcel "G" on a map recorded in Book
32, Page 41 of Parcel Maps, in the office of
the County Recorder, County of Orange, State
of California.
Reserving therefrom an easement, for the
operation and maintenance of waterline
facilities, over the northeasterly 10.00 feet
of said Lake Avenue.

• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said map be and
hereby is approved and adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and
directed to file the same in the proceedings for the abandonment
of said right -of -way.
ADOPTED this 9th day of March, 1980.
