RESOLUTION NO. 10013
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A WATERLINE EASEMENT
IN THAT PORTION OF LAKE AVENUE BETWEEN 32ND
ST. AND THE MARKET BASKET PARKING LOT
WHEREAS, on April 13, 1981 the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 10012 ordering the vacation and abandonment of the
right -of -way portion of Lake Avenue between 32nd St., and the
Market Basket Parking Lot; and
WHEREAS, the City Council ordered that said Resolution
be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of
Orange; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach reserved an easement
for waterline facilities over the northeasterly 10 ft. of said
Lake Avenue, vacated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt said
waterline easement for City purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the reserved easement, for the
operation and maintenance of waterline facilities, over the
northeasterly 10 ft. of vacated I:ake Avenue, being that portion
of Lake Avenue, 40 ft. wide, shown as parcel "G ".on a map.
recorded in Book 32, Page 41 of Parcel Maps, in the Office of-the
Orange County Recorder, County of Orange, State of California,
is hereby accepted and adopted as a City waterline easement.
