A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE COMPENSATION
PLAN AND TABLE OF AUTHORIZATION TO INCREASE
• THE SALARY RANGE OF THE CHIEF BUILDING
INSPECTOR
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has approved the 1980 -1981 Compensation Plan and Table of
Authorization; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the salary range
for the Chief Building Inspector should be adjusted by a ten
percent (10 %) increase to make said position comparable with like
positions in Orange County and the surrounding areas,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach hereby amends the Compensation Plan and
Table of Authorization for permanent employee classes as follows:
1. Chief Building Inspector with a salary range
of 56.047 - 60.047 ($2,050. - $2,492.).
