A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH MODIFYING THE FEE OF $285.00
FOR PERMITS FOR COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES ON THE
WATERS OF NEWPORT HARBOR TO BECOME EFFECTIVE
JULY 1, 1981 AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 9783
WHEREAS, Section 17.41.040 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that a fee in connection with the City's
administrative costs of processing an application for permits for
commercial activities be established by the City Council by
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Coucnil has considered the fee
recommended by the City Manager and finds it to be fair,
equitable and reasonable,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach hereby establishes a fee of $285.00 to
compensate the City for the administrative costs of processing an
application for a permit for commercial activities on the waters
of Newport harbor,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said fee shall become
effective as of July 1, 1981.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of June , 1981.
