RESOLUTION NO. 10078
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT
(NO. C -2150) TO JERRY CROSS PAVING CO., INC.
IN CONNECTION WITH PROSPECT STREET CONSTRUC-
TION BETWEEN WEST COAST HIGHWAY AND SEASHORE
DRIVE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with Prospect Street construction between West
Coast Highway and Seashore Drive and the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 10th day of June,
1981 at 11:00 a.m., and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is JERRY CROSS PAVING CO., INC.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of JERRY CROSS PAVING CO.,
INC. in the amount of $44,900.00 be accepted, and that the
contract for the described work (Contract No. C -2150) be awarded
to said bidder; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of June , 1981.
