A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE 75th
ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE TO DECEMBER 31, 1981
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 9877 established the "75th
Anniversary Committee" setting forth the duties and
responsibilities of that Committee, and requiring it to be sunset
on September 1, 1981; and
WHEREAS, many of the Anniversary events are scheduled
for late September, 1981 and it is desirable to extend the term
of the Committee to December 31, 1981 to allow completion of said
events; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to extend the term of
the 75th Anniversary Committee to permit it to complete its
activities
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the term of the 75th
Anniversary Committee is hereby extended to December 31, 1981.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: the other terms and
conditions of Resolution No. 9877 not inconsistent herewith shall
remain in full force and effect.
ADOPTED this 27th day of July, 1981.
