• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ORDERING THE VACATION AND
ABANDONMENT -OF A WATER FACILITIES EASEMENT
SUBJECT TO RESERVATION OF A. PORTION OF SAID
EASEMENT (S'E'LY CORNER OF BAYSIDE DR., &
MARINE AVE., DWG. R/W 5445 -L) IN CONNECTION
WITH RESUBDIVISION NO. 569
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director of the City of
Newport Beach presented to the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, on July 14, 1981, a certain map prepared by
the Public Works Department entitled "Vacation of Water Line
Easement Resub. 569 ", Drawing No. R/W- 5445 -L a copy of which is
attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A ", which the City is
considering vacating; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
approved and adopted said map on _July L4_, 1981 and directed
the City Clerk to file same in the proceedings for the abandon-
ment of said alley; and
WHEREAS, on August 24 , 1981, the City Council held a
public hearing for the purpose of hearing all persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment of said
above - described water facilities easement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines from all
of the evidence submitted that the subject water facilities
easement described herein is unnecessary for present or
prospective public use,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the water facilities easement,
• more particularly described on the attached legal description
hereto and marked Exhibit "B" and :incorporated herein by
reference, is hereby ordered vacated and abandoned:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
ordered to cause a certified.copy of such order attested by the
Clerk under the seal of the City of Newport Beach to be recorded
in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
ADOPTED this 24 day of August , 1981.

That certain easement for water lines, pressure reducing station and
appurtenances as described in that certain deed recorded in Book 11129,
Page 443 of Official Records, in the office of the Recorder, County of
Orange, State of California.
Reserving therefrom an easement for relocated water line, pressure
reducing station and appurtenances more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at She northerly terminus of a tangent line which
bears North 0 07'20" West 174.40 feet from the southwest corner
of Parcel 1, per map filed in Book 133, Pages 14 and 15 of
Parcel Maps, records of said County, said point being also the
beginning of a curve concave northwesterly having a radius of
380.00 feet; thence northwesterly 43.06 feet along last mentioned
curve and boundary of said parcel through an angle of 6029'32"
to a point, a radial to said point bears North 83023'08" East,
said point being the beginning of a reverse curve concave
southeasterly having a radius of 35.00 feet; thence northeasterly
35.59 feet along last mentioned curve and said boundary through
an angle of 58015'24" to a point, a radial to said point bears
North 38021'28" West, said joint being the true point of beginning;
thence non - tangent South 643'30" East 16.18 feet; thence North
21016'30" East 14.38 feet to a point of non - tangency on said
curve having a radius of 35.00 feet, a radial to said point bears
North 2020'17" West; thence westerly 22.00 feet along said curve
through an angle of 36001'11" to the true point of beginning.
