• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT
(NO. C -2197) TO ALL AMERICAN ASPHALT IN
CONNECTION WITH RESURFACING JAMBOREE ROAD
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with Jamboree Road (northbound) resurfacing from
Ford Road to 900 feet south of Eastbluff Drive, and the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 28th
day of July, 1981 at 2:30 p.m., and publicly opened and declared;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is ALL AMERICAN ASPHALT.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of ALL AMERICAN ASPHALT in
the amount of $86,568.98 be accepted, and that the contract for
the described work (Contract No. C -2197) be awarded to said
bidder; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 24 day of August , 1981.
