• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH REQUIRING VEHICLES TRAVELING ON 11TH STREET TO
STOP AT WEST BAY AVENUE AND VEHICLES TRAVELING ON 13TH
STREET TO STOP AT WEST BAY AVENUE
WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides
that whenever any ordinance or resolution of this City designates and describes any
intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, the
City Traffic Engineer shall erect and maintain STOP signs at those entrances of each
intersection where a stop is required; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is a need for intersection control
on 11th Street at West Bay Avenue and on 13th Street at West Bay Avenue in the City of
Newport Beach;
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, that the following described location is hereby designated as a location
at which vehicles are required to stop:
On 11th Street at West Bay Avenue and
On 13th Street at West Bay Avenue
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer be and hereby is
directed to erect and maintain all necessary signs at the above locations.
ADOPTED this 9'" day of November 1998.

Absent: Hedges
Abstain: None
