A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH CONFIRMING THE LEVYING OF ASSESSMENTS FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2003 TO AUGUST 31, 2004 FOR THE
CORONA DEL MAR BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, on July 22, 2003 the Corona del Mar Business Improvement
District annual report was filed and approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, on July 22, 2003 the City Council adopted, and published on
July 26t11, 2003, a Resolution of Intention declaring the intention to levy assessments for
the Corona del Mar Business Improvement District for the fiscal year September 1, 2003
to August 31, 2004; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing regarding the renewal of the Corona del Mar
Business Improvement District was held on August 12, 2003 without a protest of
majority.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
hereby confirms the levy of assessments as described in the Resolution of Intention dated
July 22, 2003 for the Corona del Mar Business Improvement District for the fiscal year
September 1, 2003 to August 31, 2004.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption. Passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting held on
the 12th day of August 2003.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council is seven; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 2003 -44 was duly and regularly introduced before and adopted by
the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the
12th day of August, 2003, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
Ayes: Ridgeway, Webb, Nichols, Mayor Bromberg
Noes: None
Absent: Heffernan, Proctor, Adams
Abstain: None
