A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF
VEHICLES ON AVON STREET BETWEEN TUSTIN AVENUE
AND RIVERSIDE AVENUE
• WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides, among other things, than when authorized
signs are in place giving notice thereof, no person shall stop,
stand or park any vehicle between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00
p.m., of any day for, a period of time longer than two hours,
upon such streets or portions thereof as the City Council shall
designated by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 (c) of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code further provides that the City Council may vary
the hours and days during which the foregoing restrictions shall
be in effect; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to limit the parking of
vehicles on Avon Street as hereinafter provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the parking of vehicles - between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. every day, except Sundays
and holidays, be limited to two (2) hours on the south side of
Avon Street between Tustin Avenue and Riverside Avenue.
