A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DECLARING THE
CITY'S VACATION OF A SEWER EASEMENT AT
116 ICINGS PLACE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
• pursuant to the provisions of the Street Vacation Act (Section
8300 et sea. of the Streets & Highways Code) is authorized to
vacate public easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach reviewed
and considered the various elements of the General Plan of the

City of Newport Beach prior to declaring its intent to vacate this
sewer easement and has determined that the vacation is consistent
with the General Plan.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held a
public hearing on the proposed vacation of the sewer easement
depicted on Exhibit A and described in Exhibit B at 7:30 P.M. on
September 12, 1988, in the Chambers of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach located at 3300 Newport Boulevard, Newport
Beach, California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach desires
to vacate the sewer easement depicted on the map depicted on
Exhibit A and legally described on Exhibit B, the vacation to be
processed pursuant to the provisions of the Street Vacation Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach that the sewer easement depicted on the map
attached as Exhibit A, and legally described on Exhibit B is
hereby ordered vacated and abandoned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby directed
to have this Resolution recorded by the Orange County Recorder.

That certain easement for the construction, operation, maintenance and repair
of sanitary sewer and appurtenances over, under, along and through that portion of
Lot 2 in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as shown
on the map filed in Book 38, Page 27 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, included within a strip of land, 10.00 feet in
width, the centerlines of said strip being described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the northerly boundary of said Lot 2, said point
being easterly of and distant 74.00 feet from the northwesterly corner of
said lot; thence S 15 °06124" E 76.02 feet to a point in the southerly
boundary.of said Lot 2.
