AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into 150' day of January, 2014 in the State of California, by and
between the Trustees of The California State University, which is the State of California acting in a higher
education capacity, through its duly appointed and acting officer, hereinafter called the University
Extended Education (UEE) and City of Newport Beach (hereafter called the Contractor).
WITNESSETH: That the University Extended Education for and in consideration of the covenants,
conditions, agreements, and stipulation of the Contractor hereinafter expressed, does herby agree to
furnish to the Contractor services and materials as follows:
SECTION I Subject of Contract Professional Office Administration
The Professional Office Administration for Public Agencies certificate program is designed for office administrative
professionals to develop in-depth skills that will enhance their occupational goals and improve performance outcomes. Classes in
the program include:
A. Customer Satisfaction and Focus
B. Writing for the Professional Business Environment
C. Plain Speaking: How to Communicate Successfully
D. Effective Goal Setting
E. Problem Solving Skills for Outstanding Performance
SECTION II Meetings and/or Services Online/Distance Education
A. Schedule: February 17th, 2014 — July 201h, 2014
B. Total instructional hours: 54 hours/5.4 Continuing Education Units (CEU's)
SECTION III Facilities, Personnel, and Services to be provided by UEE
A. Online Learning: Titanium
B. Instructor: Various Instructors
C. Materials: All class materials and audio/visual equipment
SECTION IV Payment
Contractor agrees and promises to pay UEE in accordance with the amounts and dates as set forth:
Rate per student: $1,512.00 per student
IN WITNESS WHEREOFthis a neement has been executed by the parties hereto.
