Chairperson Ken Drellishak called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m.

Arlene Greer moved to approve the minutes of July 16, 2007. Ray Halowski seconded the motion.
Motion passed unanimously
2. Presentation on Proposed Amendment to Hoag Hospital Master Plan
Carol McDermott of Government Solutions introduced the project team, and gave a presentation on the proposal to
amend the master plan. She, Cora Newman and Debra Legan responded to questions from Committee members.
Chair Drellishak requested a brief description of the Hoag Healthcare Center project, which Ms. McDermott and Ms
Legan provided.
Chair Drellishak made assignments for review of DEIR sections to subcommittee members.
3. Appointment of Subcommittee to review Draft Environmental Impact Report for Hoag Healthcare Center
Subcommittee members were appointed and assigned to review sections of the DEIR, as follows:

4. Report from Energy Subcommittee
Laura Dietz reported on her meeting with Building Director Jay Elbettar. The Committee discussed the need for a
subcommittee work program and timeline.
5. Economic Development Committee (EDC) Representative's Report
Chair Drellishak reported that there was no meeting in August.
6. Coastal /Bay Water Quality Committee Representative's Report
Nancy Gardner reported on the Back Bay Science Center.
