The process and the outreach has been thorough and everyone is trying to improve our quality of life for the residents, property owners, business owners and visitors. I thank you all for the patience you show to residents that don't understand or engage in the process in these revitalization efforts. All of us should be trying to improve the area to make it more enjoyable for everyone and not hang on to the past . I support everything that has been done to date by the staff, CAP, consultants and the revitalization committee to find solutions to improve all aspects of the Village and the surrounding areas. We need to take the long view and evaluate all the options and come up with reasonable, economic and realistic solutions. Everyone must listen to all aspects of the revitalization and make informed decisions. So please take the petition for the RPPP as the approval of the silent majority that wants to explore our options with the coastal commission then work on all the alternatives and finally create a viable RPPP for the area. We understand there will be changes and that the process is not thru yet but don't just listen to vocal minority that won't even communicate what their objections are to the RPPP. Also everyone should know this was resident driven and just evaluated and recommended by the consultant as a reasonable approach for the residents immediately adjacent to the village. And if the revitalization effort is successful, especially with ExplorOcean and the Balboa Theatre, parking will become more difficult in the West Balboa Village residential area. Bruce Brandenburg 1
