Most of the same employees were present, but I took the opportunity to re- emphasize the complexities of our harbor and how the barge traffic affects harbor activities. i.e. regular regattas, NAC annual rowing event November 1, Christmas Boat Parade etc... Is the "Sea Lion Season" Over ?? ..We hope so! Next Steps: Begin the process for RGP -54 renewal in 2011 which will probably include a full testing program. IMPORTANT MEETING NEW SWRCB MARINA REQUIREMENT NEWPORT BEACH CLEAN BOATING NETWORKING CONFERENCE The City of Newport Beach, Project- GreenWorks and the American Legion Yacht Club will be hosting an upcoming Newport Beach Clean Boating Network Conference. This is an educational forum and outreach group of local marine businesses and boaters promoting envronatentally sound boating practices. Harbor Resources currently applying for a Coastal Commission Permit extension. Public Dock Access Improvements 15th Street is all permitted and ready for bid. 19th and Fernando Streets are still being reviewed by Building for ADA access issues at the bulkhead.
