The City Council of the City of Newport Beach will consider the following application: Local Coastal Program Implementation Plan — The City Council will consider the adoption of the Local Coastal Program (LCP) Implementation Plan with modifications suggested by the California Coastal Commission. The LCP Implementation Plan consists of the zoning regulations, maps, and other legal instruments needed to implement the California Coastal Act and the City's certified Coastal Land Use Plan. NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant to the authority and criteria contained in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the proposal is statutorily exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15265(a) (1) of the California Code of Regulations, Title 14, and Chapter 3 of the Coastal Act. All interested parties may appear and present testimony in regard to this application. If you challenge this project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City, at, or prior to, the public hearing. Administrative procedures for appeals are provided in the Newport Beach Municipal Code Chapter 20.64.
